Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

Serving as the Marketing Director’s right hand, the Marketing Coordinator stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans. Day to day, he/she will create or coordinate content, draft reports, update or maintain websites and otherwise support all marketing strategies.

Required Qualifications

Ability to Attend Conferences and Workshops

Ongoing Education

  • Maintaining Google Analytics Certification

  • Maintaining Meta Certifications as needed

  • Staying informed of social media trends, technologies, and strategies

Relationship building with partners, community leaders, business owners, and staff

Willingness to learn new skills such as HTML, CSS, and video editing.

Ability to work independently with remote oversight.

Essential Duties

Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.


​Assist in the development of company’s social media strategy and lead all content creation.

  • Work with Marketing Director to develop content calendar and event schedule.

  • Research and develop strategies for leveraging social media platforms and features.

  • Lead content creation including video, graphics, and social posting.

  • Lead coordination of events, giveaways, and sponsorships

  • Attending sponsored events as needed to capture content and build relationships. This will sometimes include after hours and weekends; flex time will be accommodated during the week if needed.

  • Assist in responding to online comments and messages.

Execution of Ike Gives Program with guidance.

  • Contacting and coordinating with charities

  • Scheduling interviews and check presentations

  • Oversee sign creation and display.

  • Coordinating end of round tallies

Assist in updating and maintaining the company’s websites:

  • Posting Monthly Specials

  • Updating Staff Pages

  • Update banners monthly.

  • Maintain compliance standards per each dealership’s OEM guidelines.

  • Work with website support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  • QA work by outside vendors as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

Website Audits to review all links are working, information is accurate & compliant, forms are delivering to the CRM correctly etc.


Fill-in as or assist Vehicle Merchandising Specialist as needed.

  • Includes taking pictures of vehicles, uploading descriptions, and entering in-transit inventory.



  • Pull reports from CRM, Google Analytics, Social Media Platforms, or other outside vendors.

  • Reconcile sold deals or phone calls for reporting accuracy.

  • Set up reporting in Google Analytics and Data Studio


Assist with gathering and dispersing monthly specials.

Tasks May Include

  • Running inventory numbers

  • Coordinating with department managers to collect offers.

  • Gathering national offers from OEM portals

  • Review and approve graphics or emails from outside vendors.

  • Administrative tasks as needed.

  • Assist Marketing Director with ongoing projects as needed.

  • At times may be asked to create and send email blasts

  • At times may be asked to research products or vendors and make recommendations to Marketing Director

  • Guided market research as needed.
