Automotive Detailer
What Are We Looking for In an Automotive Detailer?
Applicants with prior detail experience will be given priority consideration
Willing to train someone with a great work ethic
Valid and current Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a background check & drug screening
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVENINGS & SATURDAYS
Responsibilities
-
Perform various vehicle cleaning tasks such as (but not limited to) washing, polishing, buffing, interior cleaning, and window cleaning.

Remove factory stickers and protective items from new vehicles and apply dealership decal stickers and logo plates.

Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.

Communicate with service staff and external customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Utilizes Rapid Recon software to track vehicles within the reconditioning process

Keeps lot full, identifies & moves misplaced vehicles, and keeps rows straight

Inspect vehicles off transport trucks & complete electronic inspection

General company errands including some customer interaction

Building maintenance items as needed

Maintains lot & dealership grounds

Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
-
Able to work in an environment that is dusty and where various chemical compounds are used

Able to withstand inclement weather, and elements while working outside and in shop
-
Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach and handle parts and equipment
-
Lift up to 30+ pounds
